Charlie Tumahai

Charlie Tumahai was born in 1949. During his early twenties he moved across to Australia to try his luck in the band scene over there.

His talent ended up in several bands, most notably Mississippi. They were an early line up of Little River Band.

After several years his adventurous spirit led him to the United Kingdom. Charlie joined Be Bop Deluxe for five or six years.

After being away so long Charlie was becoming homesick. Not long after he returned he joined Herbs.

Sadly Charlie Tumahai passed away much too young in 1995.
