Chapel is an indie pop-rock duo from Athens, Georgia. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Carter Hardin, who used to be a part of metalcore band Nightmares, and drummer Kortney Grinwis, who used to be a part of rock band Favorite Weapon. Unlike the previous bands Hardin and Grinwis played in, Chapel has a very poppy sound.
With help from co-manager Tyler Carter from Issues and original label Rise Records, Chapel released their debut single ‘'Caught Up’' in 2016. This was followed up by other singles ‘'Fool’s Gold’' and ‘'We’ve Got Soul’', before the duo eventually released their debut EP Sunday Brunch in 2017.
Ever since the start of the band Chapel have toured with bands such as Waterparks, Good Charlotte, Sleeping With Sirens and Pierce The Veil.
