Born on June 5, 2001, in Yongin, South Korea, 이채령 (Lee Chae Ryeong) monoymously known as Chaeryeong is an South Korean singer and dancer under JYP Entertainment. She is also a member of South Korean girl group, ITZY.

After failing the audition for Fantagio in 2012 with her sister Lee Chae Yeon, she then auditioned for JYP Entertainment and passed as an trainee. During her five year training period, Chaeryeong was well-known to be an contestant on Mnet’s reality show, “SIXTEEN”. Chaeryeong made it to the finale, where it was finally revealed that she wouldn’t be an member of TWICE. Four years later, in 2019, Chaeryeong then debuted as a member of ITZY with the support of her sister. Not only did Chaeryeong appear on SIXTEEN, but she also went on SBS’s K-Pop Star 3.
