Cayetana are a three-piece punk-rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, composed of bassist Allegra Anka, guitarist and vocalist Augusta Koch, and drummer Kelly Olsen. Formed in 2011 in the bustle of the Philadelphia DIY punk scene, the band have made honest lyrics and straightforward melodies their brand. Catchy hooks, discussions of mental illness and firm queer, feminist identities have made Cayetana stick out above their growingly numerous peers, with their 2017 sophomore album New Kind Of Normal receiving praise from the music press and fans alike.
