Owen Ashworth created the moniker in 1997, and until 2010 he would release heartfelt, DIY music under the name, with wildly endearing songs that dealt with the full spectrum of emotion.
A penchant for Casio keyboards and the note C, Ashworth released 5 records under the name, along with a series of compilations and EPs. Etiquette and Vs. Children were the two main albums, with both scoring highly on Metacritic.
As of 2010, the project has ceased. He now records under the name Advance Base.
