Caroline Alves is self-taught songwriter and singer from Rio de Janeiro. It is only when she moved to Switzerland that she finds out her passion for music by teaching herself guitar when she was 14, influenced by soul and folk music and artists such as Amy Winehouse, Erykah Badu and Massive Attack. Her voice is unmistakable and her style is a mix of pop, soul, jazz and afro-brazilian rhythms.

After years playing in the streets, little cafés and bars, Caroline Alves releases her first album “Moonlight” and wins, a couple months later, in 2021, a Swiss Music Award as “Best Talent”.
