Carly Rose Sonenclar is a singer, songwriter and actress. She started her career as an actress with different minor roles in theater, including Broadway.

In 2011, Sonenclar obtained the lead role in the Broadway musical Wonderland, and received favorable reviews.

Her popularity rose at age 13 after appearing on Season 2 of X Factor USA. Coming in 2nd, she was a frontrunner for the entirety of the competition.

In 2016, she stated that she was “developing [her] own sound” and working on the release of a new type of music.
