Carl William Bell is an American guitarist, songwriter, record producer, and singer, best known as the for co-founder of the alternative rock band Fuel. He never performed as a lead vocalist for the band, although he was the lead songwriter and guitarist for the band from its formation in 1989 until 2007, despite rotating lead vocalists. Bell recorded 4 studio albums with Fuel and left the band in 2007, returning in 2021 for their album ÅNOMÅLY released in October of that year.
Bell debuted as a singer for his debut solo independent album Tennessee Fuel in 2017, which experimented with country music as Bell originates from the rural town of Kenton, Tennessee.
