Camilyn Morrison – The Surfing Songwriter – is a professional songwriter known for her diverse writing style from rock, country music to even world pop, easy listening, jazz, cinematic pop, classical, ragtime blues, island and R&B. Her songs have been featured on the radio nationally and internationally, in commercials, for a variety of non profits including Make-A-Wish Foundation® and the Susan Cox Powell Foundation among others, as well as in upcoming films.
Her latest works include a hold with Carrie Underwood, a cut with band Foreign Figures (opening act for Imagine Dragons). Her rock track written with frontman Neal Middleton of Royal Bliss, has charted in the Top 40’s with over a million clicks on the official music video. Her song “You’re A Beautiful Day” was featured in the 2020 Netflix movie “The Wrong Missy” (produced by Adam Sandler, starring David Spade.)
