In addition to her music endeavors, Henemark has been active in television and film. She is a supporter of the Swedish Social Democratic Party and holds liberal views on sex, gay rights, and life. Henemark has had relationships with film director Anders Skog and pop star/music video director Stakka Bo (Johan Renck). She is known for her love of ice hockey and association football.
In 2010, a book titled “Den motvillige monarken” claimed that Henemark had a year-long love affair with Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf in the late 1990s. The revelations were published by the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet.
