JD “CakeBoyBally” McCray is a music producer, recording engineer, and mix engineer hailing from Greenville, Mississippi. At 27 years of age, he has established a prominent presence in the music industry, collaborating with major artists and labels such as YSL and Alamo.

From the outset of his career, JD’s primary goal has been to create music that deeply resonates with audiences, infusing it with emotion and passion that lingers in the hearts of listeners for years to come. His commitment to crafting timeless sounds is evident in his extensive body of work.

CakeBoy Bally’s journey began with his graduation from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences (CRAS) in 2013, marking the inception of his seven-plus years of invaluable experience in the field.

Throughout his career, Bally has had the privilege of working in multiple prestigious studios, stretching from Atlanta, Georgia, to Los Angeles, California. Bally proudly holds the distinction of being an RIAA Platinum and Gold Certified Engineer, a testament to his exceptional contributions to the music world.
