C-Block was formed in 1995 by German music producers Frank Müller and Jörg Wagner to capitalize on the influence of American hip-hop on the European market. The group was fronted by Mr. P and Red Dogg, singers Misty and Goldie Gold were also on the roster and provided backing vocals.
The group achieved commercial success with the album General Population, but couldn’t match it with their second album Keepin' It Real. The group disbanded, and after an unsuccessful attempt by Mr. P to bring it back with singer Jeanine Love in 1999, it disappeared forever.
