Originally from Germany (born 1999), Megan Bülow began busking in the streets of England at the age of 11 years old when she moved there, without imagining her popularity would be that of today’s.
America’s culture and mentality is not quite the same as the one of Europe—especially in The Netherlands where she graduated highschool—so after moving to Texas when she was 14, these difficult period of new experiences shaped most of her songs.
Her first EP, Damaged Vol. 1 (followed by a Vol. 2), earned her two nominations for Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Single of the Year (“Not A Love Song”) at the 2019’s JUNO Awards, winning in the first category.
Most notable work includes “Not A Love Song”, a record about inversed gender roles in a relationship, which peaked at number 32 in Billboard’s Canadian Charts; and “Two Punks In Love” (number 57 in Canada’s Charts).
On April 5th, 2019, bülow released her third project and EP, Crystalline.
