Bruce Foxton, famous for being involved in the critically acclaimed U.K Punk/Mod Revival group “The Jam” as their bass player was born in the town Woking, in Surrey along with the other two members of the group Paul Weller and Rick Buckler. Initially acting as the lead guitarist in the group (with Weller playing bass) he soon swapped with Weller.
Over their five years of producing music from 1977 – 1982, The Jam produced six albums with Foxton providing some of their most iconic components in their songs from the bass such as Town Called Malice, Going Underground, Monday, Start, In the City and countless more.
After the dissolution of The Jam Foxton went on to start a solo career, Joining Stiff Little Fingers and forming The Jam revival group called “From The Jam” touring internationally.
