Brother Leo is the artistic alter ego of Swedish artist and songwriter Ola. His career began on Swedish Idol in 2005 however since coming 8th, Ola has released four albums. Eleven of his releases have reached Top 5, with 6 making it to number one on the Swedish single charts, attaining gold and platinum certification. In 2018 and after 4 years of studio sessions he decided to switch up his music style and record a new project under the alias ‘'Brother Leo’‘. Speaking about this new project he said;
’‘After deconstruction, doubts, and reflection came a need to reinvent, challenge and stretch myself. I promised myself to not play it safe. Life’s too short. My inspiration came from a dream I used to have as a kid. In the dream I had a twin, a fearless free spirit with superpowers. His name was Leo. So I wanted to create a platform to be free, free to be even more me. The fact that I’m exited, terrified, proud, and having all kinds of conflicting emotions at the same time, tells me I’m on the right path.’'

His first official release was the double single Strangers On An Island released on July 27, 2018. Followed by “Push Up”, “Shine”, “Barcelona” and “‎Hallelujah” throughout 2018-2020. After several droplets, Brother Leo announced his debut studio album on May 28, 2021 with the release of the first single “People”. Brother Leo’s first official album Pop Poetry [Part 1.] was finally released on February 25, 2022. Two followu up EP’s were scheduled for release throughout 2022 but were instead replaced by the full length album released on September 16, 2022.
