Lukas aka BRNSRGHT is a Lithuanian born, Cartoon Network raised, London based Songwriter, Rapper and Producer.
“Burning karma” is how the artist describes his creative process.
From early age, he experimented with various genres, instruments and approaches in exploring and performing his sound, inspired, in part, by his father’s music collection, which encompasses everything from Rachmaninov to Nirvana, Temptations to Indian Ragas. By the time he left his home country for good, at 21, Lukas had already created several albums’ worth of music catalogue, including original soundtracks for a few, big Lithuanian movies. Searching for a bigger
inner city atmosphere, he found himself in London, where he became inspired by the rave scene, started performing with his metal band, acting in movies, street performing – working, whatever
it took to keep the creativity alive. In summer of 2016, Lukas experienced an explosion in a London pub that left him with 3rd degree burns covering 15% of his body. In recovery, through physical pain and addiction to numbing it, BRNSRGHT found solace in writing and producing his beats; soon
after, rapping on them became the best form of self-therapy. Always in tune with the musical zeitgeist, this globally minded artist with an affinity for language is creating sub-conscious Hip-Hop, with strong bass, nostalgic melodies and a diverse delivery. In his East London studio, BRNSRGHT facilitates a hub for like-minded creatives
and musicians, collaborating with artists, like UNDERWATERKASH, TRXNTRPS, Steinsdotter, TRAPLORD, and others.
