Brigetta of Nashville, Tennessee, is formerly one-half of the duo Truitt, the musical brainchild of her and her sibling Brett Truitt. At age 19 in 2018, she became a solo artist and dropped her surname after signing her first publishing deal with Prescription Songs.

Brigetta had a single with DJ artist R3HAB called “How You’ve Been,” which gained nearly a million streams in less than a week and was featured on 24 New Music Fridays worldwide. She also co-wrote the latest Phangs EP and worked on Win and Woo’s “Constellation,” which was featured in a Blue Moon campaign.
