About Brick City Kids

The “Brick City Kids” were originally named “Artifacts”. They were an underground Hip Hop duo from New Jersey, closely related to Redman, most famous for their single “Wrong Side Of The Tracks”

After recording their second album (“That’s them”), the group decided to quit their label. Unfortunatelly, Atlantic records still had the rights to the name “Artifacts”, so the duo was forced to change their name.

The duo only used the name “Brick City Kids” for 2 songs (“What What” and “Brick City Kids”).

Shortly after these 2 recordings the group has disbanded, and the members (Tame One, El Da Sensei) went on to pursue their solo careers.
