About Brian Tyler

Brian Tyler is an American composer, instrumentalist, and conductor most known for his film scores, such as: Crazy Rich Asians, Iron Man 3, The Fast and the Furious franchise, and the Expendables trilogy. Originally a history and philosophy major at the University of California, Los Angeles, Tyler transferred to Harvard University to obtain his master’s degree in film scoring.

In addition to his reputable film repertoire, Tyler has also been instrumental in scoring notable video game franchises, such as Assassin’s Creed IV, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and Far Cry 3, as well as scoring the current NFL theme for ESPN, Universal Pictures theme, and the Marvel Studios theme.
