Brent Smith is the Lead Vocalist of American platinum rock band Shinedown. He has released 6 albums with Shinedown, and 2 albums for the band’s side project, Smith & Myers, consisting of him and Shinedown’s guitarist, Zach Myers. Shinedown has released many songs, all of which have gotten to at least top 15 spots on billboards. He and the band is most commonly known for Sound Of Madness, Second Chance, Cut The Cord, How Did You Love, Bully, Unity, a cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Simple Man,” and so many more.
In the past, Smith battled drug and alcohol addiction. He is now completely clean, sober, healthy, and lost the weight he had picked up from the alcohol. He’s got a son named Lyric with his ex girlfriend Ashley.
