Brendan Baar

Brendan Baar, better known as 24k, is a talented rap/hip-hop producer from Indianapolis, IN. He started his journey as a sound engineer at various studios in Indianapolis, working with local artists and recording hit songs. His experience of working with and managing new artists prompted him to begin recording his own songs. Over the years, he has honed his skills in audio mixing and mastering techniques, collaborating with various artists, and producing over 300 songs.

24k has always been drawn to the culture of hip-hop and its diverse range of work, which allows him to create different styles of music and focus on good production. According to him, the key to success as a producer is to listen to as much music as possible, understand why a song is working, and then bring your own spin to it. The biggest struggle for up-and-coming producers, as he sees it, is the difficulty in making big investments or collaborations with individuals who don’t comprehend the business behind the music industry.

24k has worked with artists from all over the world, including OCC Taee, Taylor Hall, FABO x, and other prominent Indianapolis artists. His music has garnered millions of streams on Spotify and other sites, making his production of over 300 songs one of his greatest achievements.
