Bradley Lehmann (branded by the alias of ‘Brad Taste in Music’) is a music critic/reactor, video editor, an occurring producer, and a previous music shitposter (to avoid copyright) who resides on YouTube. He is often considered to enjoy explosive tracks while he remarks much slower tracks on an artist’s album.
Brad started out to try review albums and songs in late 2017 where he reviewed his first album (Forced Witness by Alex Cameron) giving it a 7.4/10.
However, his channel felt a little growth spike when he reviewed Joji’s debut extended play, “In Tongues”. He criticizes on the EP’s use of genre in which he describes as “fuckboy rap” (a genre where the lyrics have much more added and borderline edginess needed), disliking the character that Joji represents himself as being ‘an asshole’ and having a ‘fuckboy persona’, and disliking the writing material for being fake. He gave the EP an over 6/10 for it’s sound but a 1/10 was given due to Joji’s performance and writing. This lead to many of Joji’s fans giving negativity to Bradley’s review and a growth in his channel.
Four months later after the Joji dilemma, he posts a reaction + review on “twenty on pilots”’s album “Blurryface” due to influences from Jon from ARTV. Not only did it receive little backlash from the clique (the twenty one pilots fanbase’s nickname), but it gave the biggest boost on his channel and setted the foundation on what people wanted from Bradley. He continued to post more twenty one pilots content by following the same formula with Vessel, Regional at Best, and their self-titled album.
Once he stopped with posting ‘twenty on pilots’ content, people wanted Bradley to react to more “Emo” music, most noted being My Chemical Romance and Panic! At the Disco. As Bradley gave ‘The Black Parade’, the My Chemical Romance album, a reaction + review (giving it a score of 9/10), the attention he got from the Blurryface reaction he did doubled. Since the reaction was a two-parter, the second part only received half of the attention on what the first part got.
He posted his first half of his reaction on Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, yet another album from My Chemical Romance; criticizing himself that it was nothing like ‘The Black Parade’. However, he has since delayed the second part when he announced a live stream; stating that for any comments (in the video itself and the live chat) that begs him to react to Three Cheers will be delayed for 30 mins. By the end of the live stream, the reaction had been delayed for 9450 minutes (six-and-a-half days). The second part was uploaded on May 18, more than two weeks on the initial release date most like due to the comment section asking for the sequel on his other videos.
