Bossfight started as a duo between Erik Sjöstrand and another that created bitpop songs from 2010 to 2013. A new member, Robin Jansen, joined in 2012, while another left in 2013. In 2016, Jansen left, leaving Sjöstrand as the sole member of Bossfight. From 2015 and onwards, Bossfight began creating different and darker music, starting with glitch hop and gradually transitioning into the dubstep he is known for today.
