Booker T. Jones (born November 12th, 1944) is an American multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, record producer and arranger, best known as the frontman of the band Booker T. & the M.G.’s.. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Jones became a child prodigy of music at a young age. He learned to play the oboe, trombone, saxophone, double bass, piano and organ while at church.
