Bonaparte

AKA: Tobias Jundt, Studio Bonaparte

About Bonaparte

Bonaparte is the stage name of the Berlin-based Swiss electronic rock songwriter and producer Tobias Jundt, whose plain sound is close to punk. Jundt is the only permanent member in the studio, collaborating with a changing cast of live musicians and performers when touring.

Bonaparte is known for its socio-critical lyrics as well as its celebration of hedonism. His signature feature is his throaty and rustic voice which creates the impression that primitive or amateurish recording technics (Low Fidelity) were used. While primarily performing in English, Jundt lately also released songs in German (on the album Was mir passiert).
