Blue Bell is formed in 2018 by former class mates I. Lowe (Leicester, 1995) and Alex (Madrid, 1994), after three years of relentless gigging trying out the songs that would later become their first album. They enlist the help of Javi Leslie (lead guitar and album producer) and Keru (bass guitar) and spend a year touring together through Spain.
The key element that puts the band together is a common passion for music spanning from the British Invasion to the Britpop era.
They self produce and release their first LP, ‘Sweet Memory Lane’, on February 2019.
The band’s debut album paints, amidst guitar lashes and poetic strokes, a scenery abundant in juvenile themes from this generation. The eight songs that form this album have little in common, putting together a sonic journey which shows us, in a clear way, the capability of this band to make you feel emotions as different as the themes that their songs talk about.
