Hailing from Kumamoto, Japan, and formed in 2004, BLUE ENCOUNT is a four-piece rock band consisting of bassist Tsujimura Yuta (辻村勇太), drummer Takamura Yoshihide (高村佳秀), guitarist Eguchi Yuya (江口雄也), and guitarist, main vocalist, singer-songwriter Tanabe Shunichi (田邊駿一).
The band made their major-label debut in April of 2010 with the mini-album the beginning of the beginning.
