Ramel Leroy Gill (b. October 18, 1973) is a rapper hailing from New York City known as Black Child. He gained recognition as a member of Irv Gotti’s Murder Inc. Records and for his collaborations with artists like Ja Rule and Ashanti.
Born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, Black Child discovered his passion for rap at a young age when a family friend had wrote verses for him. Inspired by his surroundings and motivated by his family and friends, he started writing his own rhymes and honing his skills.
