Blaccmass is a producer and mashup artist who gained popularity on YouTube via his unorthodox mashups, which often paired vocals from artists like Pop Smoke and Playboi Carti with more esoteric production from songs by the likes of Beethoven, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Usher, and original production from Blaccmass himself, although sometimes he does the opposite, placing pop vocals onto well-known hip-hop instrumentals. Blaccmass gained his first major beat placements with Zack Fox’s “IHY2LN” and “Marinate” 2-pack in December 2020.
