Bishop Lamont (born October 31, 1978 in Inglewood, California), is an American rapper from Carson, California.
He was signed to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment record label, but left in 2010. According to Dre. Bishop Lamont along with Eminem, is the only other rapper that made him uncomfortable.
Dr. Dre said that this is due to his protégé’s controversial and political lyrics. Together with his War Doggz crew, Bishop owns a record label called Diocese Records.
He’s currently working on his debut album “The Reformation”.
