Hassan Shaya Muhammad (born June 24, 1996), popularly known as BigSmokeChapo, is an American artist born in Wake County, North Carolina and raised in Clayton County, Georgia.

According to Chapo, he has been around music “his whole life,” with his grandfather being a jazz player and both of his parents rapping. He began taking music seriously in the tenth grade and began investing his money to rent studio time. He frequently collaborates with fellow Clayton County artists Black Gwaluh, Slimesito, Fluhkunxhkos and BeezyB.
