Beverly Caimen, known by her moniker Beverly (​ビバリー), was born on June 20, 1994, in Calamba CIty in the Philippines, and is an R&B and pop singer currently working in Japan under avex trax.

Caimen began singing at the age of five, and joined her school choir at the age of seven. By age nine, her mother enrolled her in vocal lessons, and later attended her first singing competition, though she didn’t win.

However, the one failure didn’t stop her, as she went on to continue joining competitions. Eventually, she won first place at the World Championships of Performing Arts and recorded songs under GMA Records that were composed by Vehnee Saturno.

Beverly was later awarded multiple nominations and awards, which include a nomination for Best Performance from Awit Awards, winning the Harvest of Honors award from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, as well as winning the Best Performance award from the A Song of Praise Music Festival Year 3.

Sometime in 2015, Vehnee Saturno asked a business partner in Japan to give her songs a listen. Beverly, who has been a huge fan of Japanese anime and dramas, was ecstatic, as she had always wanted to go to Japan. Luckily, Vehnee Saturno’s Japanese business partner flew to the Philippines to audition her after hearing her sing, and Beverley finally got to go to Japan in 2015, attending a workshop at avex trax and eventually signed with them in 2016, debuting the single “Tell Me Baby”.

However, she got her big break in 2017 with the release of her track “I Need Your Love”, which played as the original soundtrack to the drama CRISIS 公安機動捜査隊特捜班, which aired on Fuji TV.

Riding on the wave of her success, she released her debut album Awesome, which topped the Oricon weekly albums chart, peaking at number eight; the album included the hit song “I Need Your Love”.

To date, she is one of the most popular solo acts under avex trax in recent years.
