Beth McCarthy is a Yorkshire based singer-songwriter who is known for her appearance on the UK talent show The Voice.
Appearing on The Voice at the ripe age of 16, Beth won over millions of fans with her unique sound—although she didn’t win, a number of her fans stayed with her as she released her EP Self Portrait in March 2019.
When speaking to Music Musings & Such, Beth said:
I was actually raised on Rock music! AC/DC, Meat Loaf and Deep Purple were all [my dad’s favourites] so, ultimately, became the soundtrack to my childhood. The standout, though, was Queen and they remain one of my favourite bands of all time! […] I’d love to support HAIM as they’re one of my favourite bands and I reckon they’d be a hoot to spend time with.
