Best Brains, Inc. (originally known as Hair Brain Productions) is an entertainment company based out of Edens Prairie, Minnesota. Founded in 1988 by Trace Beaulieu, Joel Hodgson, Jim Mallon, and Kevin Murphy, Best Brains is best known for creating and producing the TV series Mystery Science Theater 3000 during the show’s original run from 1988 to 1999.
