DJ Snide joined the dingy UK warehouse rave scene in 2002 and later moved into producing in 2009 as part of the UK Hard Trance movement.
His first vinyl release was announced for independent record label Snideware Records in 2010 and it hit the top 3 slot in the Chemical Records Hard Trance chart during January of that year.
Since 2009, DJ Snide’s ‘UK Free Party’ style hard trance sets and records have blasted out of speakers in the UK and Europe at many festivals and various residencies on the underground club circuit.
‘Spirit’, a collaboration with underground hero hit number 1 for 3 weeks on Juno Records in the Hard Trance download chart in the summer of 2011 and was 3rd most downloaded Hard Trance track on Juno Download for the whole of 2011.
Newer releases from DJ Snide have also graced other labels, including the mighty underground Project Storm Recordings with ‘Ignition Sequence’, a colaboration with Orbital Resonance also hitting the Hard Trance number one spot in UK dance store Trackitdown.
In 2021, Snide returned with broody bass monster ‘Contradictions’, signifying a radical reinvention of his sound and announced an a new album due for release in early 2022.
