Beatriçe Gjergji

Beatriçe Gjergji is an Albanian singer and songwriter and a member of the music duo Shkodra Elektronike, formed with Kolё Laca in 2019. Beatriçe was born on September 9, 1990. She grew up in Italy but she is originally from Shkodër in northern Albania. Beatriçe arrived in Italy with her family when she was 6. She was raised in Magione in central Italy, where she also studied. Afterwards, she moved to Auronzo di Cadore in Veneto with her husband Marcello Batelli, who is also a musician. He made both remixes of Shkodra Elektronike songs. Beatriçe started singing at an early age, as she grew up in a family where all her relatives were passionate about music, but her parents were not professional musicians. As an adult, she searched for herself in many genres and performed in several bands in Italy (Lstcat, KKOS, Otherside). In 2018 she became a part of an electronic music duo called Arush with Daniele Bertinelli. They released their first self-produced EP in Albanian and English in February 2019.
Over time she wanted to sing something of her own. For Beatriçe, her personal style is a combination of the modern music she listens to and the traditional songs that her father sang to her. When she isn’t performing, Beatriçe teaches singing. Before that she worked in a textile factory.
In December 2024 she became the winner of FIK63 and Albania’s representative at Eurovision 2025 as part of the duo Shkodra Elektronike with the song “Zjerm”. On 17 May 2025, they performed in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 Final, where they finished in 8th place overall and 5th place in the televoting, making it Albania’s best televoting result in history, and their overall result the third best ever for Albania in Eurovision.
In late October 2025, it was announced that Beatriçe would return to FIK this year as a composer, along with her husband, Marcello Batelli. They wrote the alternative-pop song “Okej!” for Ghiti (Margherita Shllaku).
