Beady Belle was a Norwegian jazz band founded in 1999 with members Beate S. Lech (vocals), Marius Reksjø (bass), and Erik Holm (drums). With six studio albums and a “Best Of” compilation, they are one of the more innovative bands in Norwegian jazz, often switching styles between albums from house, R&B, acid jazz, and even bluegrass.
In 2015, Beady Belle the band went their separate ways, and vocalist Beate S. Lech adopted the Beady Belle mantle for herself as part of her solo career.
