Carlton Lotwaun Batts, best known by his stage name Battz (b. 2002), is a Christian hip-hop artist and songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee.

Battz first gained some recognition with his July 2021 single “Southern Hospitality,” with the assistance of major Christian rap organization Rapzilla. Only a few weeks later, he released his debut EP, Carlton Deserves Flowers.

In February 2022, Rapzilla listed Battz on their annual Rapzilla Freshmen list, which recognizes up-and-coming artists and producers within the Christian hip-hop space.

Battz is expected to release his first studio album in late 2022 or early 2023.
