Banaroo was a young bubblegum dance band that consisted of members Vito, Bobby, Steffy and Cat.

The group released their first single “Dubi Dam Dam” in between June 5-6 of 2006 where it peaked at number-two in Germany. Their debut album Banaroo’s World was also a major success, becoming the number-one album in Germany and Austria. Their second single and third singles “Space Cowboy” & “Coming Home For Christmas” weren’t as big as the debut single, but did reach the top ten in Germany.

Banaroo’s second album Christmas World failed to reach the top ten in Germany and only had one single; “Coming Home For Christmas”. Their third album Amazing was released in 2006 to moderate success on the charts and two singles. Fly Away was released in 2007 & their last full length album before taking a long hiatus.

In 2008, it was announced that Banaroo has disbanded. However, in 2013, Banaroo returned with a new line-up (The new members are Doro, Laura, Alvin, and Daniel) due to the previous members' leading personal lives. They released the re-mastered version of “Dubi Dam Dam” as the comeback single in 2013 and released their album Bubblegum World. The album was a failure, failing to chart worldwide and being received negatively by critics. Sadly, this would be the last album ever released by Banaroo.

In November, 2013, Laura Luppino announced on Facebook that Banaroo has disbanded once again. As of 2018, it is unlikely that Banaroo will ever come back.
