Louis Freese (born 2 June 1970), better known by his stage name B-Real, is an American rapper, record producer and actor from Los Angeles, California. He is best known as the frontman of hip hop group Cypress Hill. His only solo studio album to date is Smoke n Mirrors, released in 2009.
B-Real is renowned for his exaggeratedly high-pitched nasal rap vocals, which is not done in his natural speaking voice. B-Real, mainly through his work with Cypress Hill, has been important in the advocacy of medical and recreational use of marijuana in the United States.
