Aziatix, commonly written as AZIATIX, was a Korean-American RnB trio that made its debut in the Korean music market in 2011 and won the Best New Asian Artist that year.
Although the group debuted in South Korea, the trio often sang in English and maintained a mostly international fan base. It’s group members – Flowsik, Nicky Lee and Eddie Shin were all of South Korean descent and born and raised in the United States and were each pursuing different things at the time. Nicky Lee had a career in Taiwan, Flowsik was an underground rapper in New York City, and Eddie Shin was attending NYU (New York University).
The group went on for another four years before disbanding in 2015. The members parted ways and continued on their solo activities – Eddie started producing music for other artists in Korea, Nicky returned to his career in Taiwan and Flowsik continued as a rapper in Korea.
The group’s fandom name is Aziaddicts.
