AVEC, born Miriam Hufnagl in 1995, is an Austrian indie musician who first appeared on the music scene with the release of her 2015 EP Heartbeats.

AVEC started writing her own songs when she was fourteen-years-old. Since releasing her first album in 2016, What If We Never Forget, she has gained popularity.

In mid-September of 2019, AVEC released her second album, Heaven/Hell.

In late September of 2019, not long after Heaven/Hell’s release, AVEC was nominated for the “Music Moves Europe Talent Awards (MMETA) 2019”.

Avec’s third studio album, Homesick, is set to be released on March 27, 2020.

AVEC performs with her band, consisting of members Andi Häuserer, Veronika Sterrer, Thomas Gieferl and Fabian Möltner.
