Attack Attack! was an American metalcore band from Westerville, Ohio that formed in 2007. They are best known for creating the faux-genre “crabcore” in the music video for their song “Stick Stickly.”
They have released three studio albums: Someday Came Suddenly, Attack Attack! and their final album before their disbandment, This Means War.
Right after lead vocalist Caleb Shomo left the band due to personal issues, including depression, the band announced their new singer to be Phil Druyor, formerly of I Am Abomination. They released a new song (“No Defeat”) and announced that a fourth studio album was in process. However, the album was never released due to the band breaking up in May of 2013. The band went on a farewell tour called “Fuck It, We’re Done.” In some of the shows, Caleb Shomo and Johnny Franck performed some old songs with the band.
After the string of line-up changes, original unclean vocalist Austin Carlile left to form metalcore band Of Mice & Men, while keyboardist and future lead vocalist Caleb Shomo formed Beartooth, a hardcore punk/metalcore band.
