Asia Whiteacre

Asia Whiteacre is a Los Angeles-based songwriter that mainly writes topline (melody and lyrics) on piano and signed to a music publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music via Katie Vinten. Whiteacre was born in Toronto and is the daughter of Billy White Acre, a Canadian singer/songwriter and film/TV composer. Due to paternal influence, she started writing songs at 3. She attended the Hollywood High School where started performing as a solo artist and later fronted the indie band, Mr. Downstairs but disliked media attention and social responsibility, and eventually focused on working in studio for other artists.
