Ashley Abrocket Purdy (born January 28, 1979) is an American bassist hailing from Bell County, Texas. He is most known as being the former bassist in the glam-rock band Black Veil Brides.

Purdy joined Black Veil Brides in 2009 after meeting vocalist Andy Biersack on Craigslist while Purdy was trying to steal band members from different bands to form a band of his own. A decade later in 2019, it was announced that Purdy and the band had mutually decided to part ways with each other.

Prior to joining Black Veil Brides, he was in other bands such as Orgasm, Stolen Hearts, and Children of the Beast, a band that paid homage to the the 80’s rock band Iron Maiden.

He now performs his solo songs live on stage, while also running his own fashion business, Ashley Purdy Fashion Inc.
