Arivarasu Kalainesan, more commonly known as Arivu, is an Indian indie rapper, lyricist, and playback singer who also works in Tamizh language films.

He writes and sings songs as a part of the band “The Casteless collective”, an anti-caste indie band based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The band was formed in 2017 by Neelam Panpaatu Maiyam (Neelam Cultural Center), an initiative of filmmaker Pa. Ranjith.

His lines are hard hitting and impactful.

He is best known for the song “Vaathi Raid” from Master (2021) and for his single “Enjoy Enjaami”(2021) produced by Maaja.
