About Arianne Schreiber

Arianne (her full name Arianne Cleopatra Schreiber), is a South African-born British singer best known for collaborating in two songs of Hideaki Anno’s Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise. One is ‘Komm, Süsser Tod’ (Come Sweet Death), which was used in The End of Evangelion. The other song, which wasn’t used in the film for unknown reasons, is ‘Everything You’ve Ever Dreamed’. Both songs were composed by Shiro Sagisu, with lyrics adapted into English by Mike Wyzgowski from Hideaki Anno’s original Japanese version.

According to her Facebook page, Arianne was in Japan for 3 days to do recording on Komm Süsser Tod and Everything You’ve Ever Dreamed. She said it was “amazing” and also “honored to be a part of Evangelion”. In 2016 she once again collaborated with Sagisu singing a rearranged version of Everything You’ve Ever Dreamed (‘M11 re-arrange and re-mix’) for the album ‘ShiroSAGISU OUTTAKES FROM EVANGELION (VOl.1)’

Arianne also sang three songs for the Rocky Horror Picture Show computer game called ‘Rocky Horror Interactive Show’.

It is known that the music she performs in her band is electronica.
