Formed in 2014, Arctic Lake are an alternative pop duo from London, England, composed of vocalist Emma Foster and multi-instrumentalist producer Paul Holliman.

The duo’s first single, “Limits” was released in 2015 and was followed up with four more before the release of their debut EP, Closer, in 2017.

Often been described as something in between London Grammar and Bat for Lashes, the band, who are fans of both of them, also draws inspiration from Bon Iver and The xx.

In an interview with Noctismag, the band’s vocalist Emma shared that:

the purpose of our music has always been to connect with others by talking about situations, thoughts and feelings that we ourselves have experienced.

What You May Find, Arctic Lake’s second EP, was released in late 2018 and was preceded by four singles.
