Archie Baldhead

Archie Mitchell, better known as Archie Baldhead, is a legendary sound engineer straight outta Memphis, Tennessee. He’s worked with a who’s who of local rap royalty—names like Tommy Wright III, Playa Fly, DJ Paul, Gangsta Blac, II Black, Nigga 9, and a whole lineup of underground Memphis talent.

On top of that, he’s the grandson of soul legend and producer Willie Mitchell, and one-half of the duo known as the M-Team. Archie was doing his thing right before the whole “devil shit” wave really took over the Memphis rap scene, during that gritty, raw era that laid the groundwork for what was coming next.
