ApTwoTone, formally known as Apac and ApacOnEm, is from the Elms neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario. Specifically Albion Rd & Armel Ct, also known as “A-Block”. ApTwoTone started dropping music in 2015 and rapidly began to grow his following and fan base. His hit single that really put him on the map in Toronto was Finesse & Kawal, alongside Huey aka HueyFuégo.

ApTwoTone went on a hiatus for most of 2020, with only releasing two tracks in 2020, Cold World and Prada You. But the reason behind his disappearance and inconsistency is understandable. Sometime during 2020 ApTwoTone travelled to London in the United Kingdom reportedly to visit his family; during his visit he was arrested for unknown charges. We know he was arrested, because out of the blue on his Instagram he posted a video of him walking out of jail with his belongings.

Forward to 2021 and ApTwoTone has been silent, but it’s clear he’s still working on music as shown on his Instagram page with previews of some new music. Hopefully ApTwoTone takes his music seriously this year and drops new and good music consistently, because ApTwoTone has the potential to blow up around the world.
